On May 9, 2025, the Station 81 ARG began on the Helldivers Discord server along with a YouTube livestream. This ARG tasked players with repairing the Station 81 satellite via a community game in the Helldivers Discord server. The YouTube livestream provided perspectives of the Station 81 satellite, along with the other three satellites overlooking Super Earth.
Players worked hard together to crack the code, and they soon did after a few days of constant work. With the Station 81 satellite “repaired”, the YouTube livestream revealed what the Station 81 satellite could see. Viewers were confused, seeing that it was just another perspective of Super Earth, but they soon spotted a familiar purple glow in the distance.
The ominous purple glow that viewers spotted turned out to be an old enemy, the Meridian Singularity. With the Meridian Singularity frozen in its tracks in previous Major Orders, viewers had started theorizing what it could mean. But before they could get close, the worst happened: the Great Host Fleet appeared from the singularity and began their war-torn path to Super Earth.
The appearance of the Great Host Fleet marked the end of the Station 81 ARG on May 13, 2025. And opened up a new chapter for Helldivers across the world, the chapter of Super Earth’s Invasion. The invasion of Super Earth began on May 13, 2025, and ended in victory on May 30, 2025, thanks to the brave citizens of Super Earth.
