The Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update swept through Speranza on February 24, 2026, with its exhilarating contents. This update gifts the community with new content that would shock any player, in some cases, very literally. It includes a new map condition, enemies, unlockable content, and much more.

The Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update comes along as a massive hurricane crashes into our beloved Rust Belt. Its furious winds even affect those underground; one couldn’t even imagine what it’s like above ground. Well, you don’t just have to imagine, because as a Raider, you can go topside and find out for yourself.

It’s hard to make out what the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update has for us, given the massive hurricane and all. But I’ve braved the storm and brought back my findings to educate my fellow Raiders on what you need to know. And the first thing you’d probably need to know is the horrendous storm that’s right outside Speranza.

The Hurricane Map Condition

The first thing players will notice in the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update is the new hurricane map condition. This freak storm comes with several challenges that you must brave when you set foot onto the surface of the Rust Belt. And this doesn’t even include the new threats that cloak themselves in the darkness of the storm.

The Wind

The first threat out of many for the hurricane map condition is the wind, something that you wouldn’t expect to be dangerous. However, these winds can reach 74-110 mph (119-177 km/h), which can toss things around with relative ease. Thankfully, the wind itself isn’t lethal, as it only really affects the speed of you and the things that you throw.

When moving against the wind, your character’s speed decreases, and their stamina drains much quicker than usual. Moving with the wind, on the other hand, will speed you up like your favorite blue blur mammal. Throwables will also get affected by the wind, so be careful that your muscle memory doesn’t betray you.

The Debris

While nonlethal on its own, the wind does carry some nasty debris from the surrounding environment. Because of the debris, your shield will constantly get damaged by the salvo of debris, thus rendering you more visible to other Raiders. So you’re faced with deciding whether or not to wear your shield when braving the harsh winds of the hurricane.

Thankfully, this effect only happens when you’re exposed to the mentioned winds, so the indoors are your haven.

The Reduced Visibility

Due to the dark skies and heavy rain, visibility on the surface of the Rust Belt has degraded into something unrecognizable. But some of you rats are used to prowling in the dark, so dust off your other senses besides sight and brave the storm. And since darkness is everywhere, stealth is an exceptional tactic across the surface now more than ever.

The First Wave Raider Caches

Thankfully, the hurricane map condition in the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update has its upside and isn’t just doom and gloom. That upside comes in the form of the First Wave Raider caches, relics from the First Wave containing valuable loot. These containers have popped up due to the storm, so you’d better find them before someone else does.

The New ARC Threats

While on the surface, you may encounter two new ARC enemies that no one has ever seen before. These ARCs come in the form of the Firefly, an armored flamethrowing flying pest, and the Comet, a much scarier version of the Pop with a much bigger explosion. Due to their recent arrival, strategies for taking them down are rather limited.

However, aiming for propulsion components for the Firefly and several magazines for the Comet has worked so far.

The Weather Monitoring System Project

When you return to your cozy cove in Speranza, you might notice the new Weather Monitoring System project. This project allows you to repair and improve the systems for predicting weather events that threaten Speranza. You can earn various rewards for contributing materials to this project, but you don’t need a reward to help the people, right?

The New Surgeon Deck

The Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update introduces a new Deck for our fellow Raiders, and it’s the Surgeon Deck. You can probably guess what the theme of the Deck is by name, but the latest Deck showcases gear themed after the medical professionals who save lives. So, when you scrub in and take the oath, will you be a Harmacist or a Pharmacist?

It’s been four months since the release of Arc Raiders, and you can finally have your character grow a beautiful beard. As of Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky, you can have a beard, stubble, or mustache. Everyone can use the stubble, while the full beard, stubble beard, and thick mustache are available in the new Deck and store page, respectively.

Is That All For The Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky Update?

That is indeed all that I can find about the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update out in the field. I have heard that there are a few new cosmetics in the store, but I’ve always been too poor to do anything but window shop. I’ve also heard rumours about a new high-security area in Dam Battlegrounds getting uncovered, called the Controlled Access Zone.

Unfortunately, I couldn’t go there to find out about it, way too risky for my taste. But maybe some of you braver Raiders can step up and discover it, and maybe you can reveal its contents for your fellow Raiders. But until then, that is all, so arm yourselves with knowledge of the Arc Raiders Shrouded Sky update and brave the storm; riches await!
