The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update has finally arrived, and it introduces a new class to our roster of battle brothers. Alongside our new battle brother from Mars, this update also features a new PvE operation that holds both archenemies for you to purge. And the fun doesn’t stop there, as this update also bolsters your customization options.
The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update arrived on our battle barges earlier today, on February 26, 2026. It also arrived with a couple of community events that encourage players to try out the new content with extra XP and more. So, let’s not keep Titus waiting and get straight into the contents so that we can deploy to his side ASAP.
The Contents Of The Space Marine 2 Techmarine Update

The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update features enough content to bring down even the biggest Carnifex. It introduces a new class, weapon, mission, customization options, and plenty more. But let’s start with the new class coming in this update, our very own Techmarine from Mars, Telorian
The Techmarine Class
The Techmarine enters the battlefield of PvP and PvE as the master of crowd control and area defense. The Techmarine accomplishes this with his powerful loadout and unique abilities, which make clearing hordes a complete breeze. He’s also never truly alone when in combat, either; a little friend is always there to assist him.
The Techmarine’s ability enables his auxiliary arm to fire either a fast-firing bolter, precision bolt rifle, or explosive plasma gun. He also comes equipped with his exclusive melee weapon, the Omnissian Axe, a weapon specialized in wide sweeps and charging strikes. The Techmarine can also repair Tarantula turrets found during missions to fight enemy forces.
You can read more about him here.
The New Disruption PvE Mission
In Disruption, you must deploy to the Hive City of Avarax to reinforce the Cadians against a massive Tyranid horde. However, your mission changes halfway, and you and a Dreadnought must eliminate Thousand Sons forces in the city’s lower levels. After discovering where they’re coming from, you must level their portal to the ground.
The New Gameplay Items And Weapons
The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update introduces a new type of stim onto the battlefield, the Restorative Stim. Found in PvE modes, this stim restores a tiny bit of health before it slowly restores your contested health over a period of time. This stim encourages an aggressive playstyle, so if you’re crazy enough, you can go from no health to full health.
The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update also features three new Heroic Weapons for you to unlock. You can find these weapons next to the Tech Priest to the right of the armory terminal. The new Heroic weapons and their abilities are as follows:
- The Argent Edge: The Argent Edge is a fencing-type Combat Knife that deals damage with each Riposte, but the Riposte window is much shorter.
- The Ultima Ratio: The Ultima Ratio is a fencing-type Omnissian Axe that deals increased damage for the attack after Omnissian Rush based on the duration of the rush.
- The Deathwatch: The Deathwatch is a Heavy Bolt Rifle with an underbarrel grenade launcher.
The New Customization Options And Cosmetic Packs
The latest update introduces several new ways to customize your favorite class in Space Marine 2. One of the new methods is that you can now swap every single head and voice between each class. Not only that, but Focus Entertainment has also just released the first chapter voice pack, which includes the Blood Angels, Space Wolves, and Black Templars.
The Space Marine 2 Techmarine update also welcomes two packs, the Raven Guard Champion pack and the Carcharodons cosmetic pack. The Raven Guad Champion comes with a full-body Assault armor set and an exclusive skin for the Bolt Pistol. The Carcharodon pack includes two pauldrons, two helmets, and an exclusive chestplate.
Is That It For The Space Marine 2 Techmarine Update?

In addition to the previously mentioned content, the Space Marine 2 Techmarine update also features some gameplay balancing and bug fixes. Most of these are minor and number in the several dozens, so listing them would be quite the task. If you’d like to read them, you can check out the patch notes yourself.
Aside from that, go and try out the Techmarine class and support the Cadians in the new PvE mission, Distruption. Remember, the Imperium wouldn’t last a week without the Space Marines, but the Imperium wouldn’t last a day without the Astra Militarum. So, save those Cadians, in the name of the holy Emperor!
