After years of behind-the-scenes development, the Chalk Warfare game reveal has arrived in the hands of SoKrispyMedia. This reveal has plastered smiles on the many kids who grew up on classic viral YouTube videos from Rocket Jump, Corridor Digital, and the like. But what is Chalk Warfare about?
The Chalk Warfare game reveal showcases a few aspects of its gameplay, and many of them should feel familiar to you. And that’s because much of its gameplay is based on the viral YouTube series of the same name. But if you aren’t familiar with what it provides, let’s give you a rundown on what Chalk Warfare is and how you can support the developers.
What The Chalk Warfare Game Reveal Showcases
As mentioned, the Chalk Warfare game reveal showcases several gameplay features way ahead of the game’s release. It shows the standard affair for first-person shooters, such as HUD elements, player characters, game modes, and the first-person view. But what makes it stand out is how you obtain weapons in Chalk Warfare.
Similar to the viral videos it’s based on, you can actually draw your weapons and use them on the spot. Additionally, you can draw attachments for your weapons to upgrade them on the go. You can also draw throwable items, such as grenades and flashbangs, and bigger grenades yield bigger booms but shorter throwing range.
But let’s rewind a bit and talk about the weapons that you can draw in the upcoming Chalk Warfare game. We can see in the reveal trailer that you can draw and use rifles, submachine guns, grenade launchers, and even melee weapons for when the situation calls for it. And in terms of tactical items, you have a flashbang and X-ray glasses.
These are probably subject to change, as anything would in an unreleased in-development game, so we’ll have to wait and see. But moving along, the Chalk Warfare game reveal also showcases several weapon attachments that you can use. These range from sights, muzzle devices, grips, and magazines.
Each weapon will have its own stats, such as damage, range, and speed for melee weapons, or damage, accuracy, and fire rate for guns. Attachments will increase or decrease certain stat values, such as an extended mag giving you more ammo but increasing your reload time. This could be further balanced out by the chalk currency.
The reveal trailer shows that certain weapons and items cost more chalk than others, so I assume that adding attachments increases their price. Unfortunately, we won’t be able to say much more than that as the trailer doesn’t go into detail about the gameplay features. But that will change as they release developer vlogs on the SoKrispyMedia YouTube channel.

The first thing you can do to support the game after seeing the Chalk Warfare game reveal is to subscribe to the developer’s YouTube channel, SoKrispyMedia. This is also where their various announcements and developer and development vlogs will go when they release. Afterwards, you can wishlist the game on Steam or buy Chalk Warfare merchandise for a more direct approach.

After signing up, access will be given in waves, so you’ll have to wait a bit before you’re accepted into the beta.
