The new Sanctum map in the Space Marine 2 14.0 update
Reading Time: 3 minutes

The Space Marine 2 14.0 update arrived earlier today, July 28, 2026, for both loyalists and heretics alike. However, this update doesn’t add anything huge, like a new PvE level or PvP mode, but it does make up for it with other things. Namely, this update changes and adjusts some features and systems that needed a little love and attention.

But just because the Space Marine 2 14.0 update doesn’t add anything large doesn’t mean it doesn’t add anything new at all. You can imagine that this update traded big spectacles for a more focused approach, and this applies to both PvP and PvE. But the clock’s ticking, so let’s take a look at what’s new in the 14.0 update so you can try it asap.

The Space Marine 2 14.0 update adds a few new treats for both PvE and PvP players. This update also adds a few treats for both PvE and PvP players, and it also sets something up for a future update that might excite a few players. But let’s rewind a bit and start with what the PvP players get to play with this update.

PvP players get a few additions and adjustments in this update, with the additions being the new Sanctum and Facility maps. But these players also get a pretty huge change: you can access all weapons and equipment at level 1. The reason behind this change was to allow new PvP players to get in and play without worrying about being underleveled.

PvP players also get to earn new weekly rewards by performing certain actions in the Space Marine 2 14.0 update. And speaking of rewards, there are now new medals and achievements that you can earn in a match, which will affect match statistics and experience points. But enough about PvP, let’s look at what PvE players get.

While this update doesn’t add a whole lot to the game, it does still add a few things for you to earn and try out. And PvE players get to earn six new Heroic Weapons, along with four new pieces of Heroic Armor. Though I think the more exciting addition for PvE players is the new Terminus Thousand Sons enemy, the Scarab Occult Terminator Sorcerer.

This enemy features powerful magics that can engage foes from close and long range. Not only that, but the foes of this sorcerer must have the wits to discern what’s real and what’s not, as this son of Magnus can conjure powerful illusions. You can also encounter this new enemy in Siege mode.

Lastly, this update sets up an expansion for cosmetics in future updates, but you can see some of its effects now. You may notice a third wargear slot in your customization menu, which will allow players to equip tabards and capes at the same time. New cosmetics for the Assault and Tactical classes have been added and can be earned by completing new Ordeals.

Speaking of cosmetics, this update also features the new Salamanders Champion Pack 2 and Raptors Cosmetic Pack. The Champion Pack includes a Heavy Champion skin set and a Multi-Melta weapon skin. On the other hand, the Raptor Pack includes a helmet, breastplate, pauldrons, and a power pack with a cloak.

Is That All For The Space Marine 2 14.0 Update?

That is pretty much all there is in the Space Marine 2 14.0 update, at least the main features. But I do plan on covering the new Heroic Weapons and their stats soon, since I only covered them by name here. So if you want to learn about the new Heroic Weapons, then make sure to stick around with us.

Nonetheless, the update has just arrived, so get on and show the heretics their place, or show the loyalists the truth, depending on your allegiance.
