The Jump Space vendor update, the first content update for the game, has just arrived with exciting new additions. The Jump Space vendor update, released on October 27, 2025, adds new weapons, sectors, and a few other inclusions. This update also finally allows players to purchase items from the vendors you see in your hangar before your run.

This update also marks the beginning of Jump Space’s first event, the Halloween event. Keepsake Games also added a supporter pack, another way to support the game with some sweet cosmetics attached. Now, before you rush in and destroy more machines, let’s see what the Jump Space vendor update brings us.

What Does The Jump Space Vendor Update Add?

You may remember reading about the Jump Space vendor update in the past, and you’d be right. We wrote an article about this update when it was just a roadmap, but now it’s here, and we get to see the details. So, let’s get into the first addition of the Jump Space vendor update, the vendors themselves.

The New Vendors

With the new update, Bozze and Vosk have finally opened up their stalls for players to purchase their wares. Bozze sells a variety of ship repair kits, big and small, along with materia containers. Vosk, on the other hand, sells a randomized selection of ship artifacts, so keep an eye out for those.

After purchasing their fine wares, or not, you’ll most likely begin your next mission, and it won’t be the same again. The Jump Space vendor update added new sectors and a new mechanic called Sector Modifiers. Coincidentally, that’s exactly what we’ll talk about next, so let’s get into it.

The New Sectors And Sector Modifiers

When flying through the vastness of space on your missions, you may notice new locations with new looks. That’s because the Jump Space vendor update added new locations to explore and fight in. Not only that, you’ll also notice the new sector modifiers when selecting your next destination on the map.

These sector modifiers could either benefit you, giving you more materia, or the enemy, giving them more elite units. Therefore, making your choice of path more important than before the update. So, with that in mind, be sure to choose your next mission wisely; no one wants their run to end due to carelessness.

And while you’re out there battling the machines, you might also encounter the new weapons in the game. The weapons in question are the new melee weapons in the Jump Space vendor update.

The New Melee Weapons

The new melee weapons come in the form of a wrench, crowbar, and Heatblade. These melee weapons use no ammo, do more damage than punching, and can block some damage. Blocking right before you get hit by enemy fire deflects it back.

The Heatblade can deflect shots back to the enemy with exceptional accuracy, thus allowing you to live out your space samurai dreams.

Next on the list is a new addition to the Dart that makes it much easier to use while on the move.

The New Dart Improvement

The Jump Space vendor update bestowed the Dart ship a heavily requested feature that makes it much easier to use. Players can now access the top and bottom of the Dart easily with the new hatches present in the engine area. Gone are the days when players get launched into space for trying to replenish shields while on the move.

The New Event And Supporter Pack From The Jump Space Vendor Update

Alongside the new game mechanics, the Jump Space vendor update also introduces a new event and supporter pack. The supporter pack lets players support the game even further while also receiving exclusive cosmetics. The Halloween event also gives players exclusive cosmetics via quest rewards, and this lasts until November 10, 2025.

With all of that in mind, crew your ship and smash those machines into scrap. Show those machines who’s boss!
