Keepsake Games has recently revealed what they’re working on in the first Jump Space content update in a recent livestream. Keepsake gave their fans a preview of the update via a livestream on October 15, 2025, and they didn’t disappoint. And if you missed the stream or wanted a summary of the livestream, then you’ve come to the right place.
For those who aren’t aware, Jump Space is a mission-based co-op PvE game where up to four players crew a spaceship. And with that spaceship, your crew must complete missions to push back against the tight grip of the corrupted machines. Now that you know what Jump Space is, let’s delve into the first Jump Space content update.
The Major Additions Coming To The First Jump Space Content Update

With the preview from the livestream, fans got to see glimpses of what’s coming with the Jump Space Content Update. These upcoming additions are sure to help you and your crew on your journey to reclaim everything from the machines. Now, let’s start with a more personal method of taking down these machines, melee weapons.
The melee weapons in Jump Space feature simple mechanics with their initial release, though that will change in future updates. Melee weapons will have a rudimentary block/parry mechanic, along with a combo of attacks. The block blocks 50% of the damage taken, while the parry completely reflects all damage.
Next on the list is an update to vendors, which includes the hangar vendors and the sector vendors. With the first Jump Space content update, your crew can finally purchase things from Bozze and Vosk, the two hangar vendors. You’ll also get the chance to acquire weapons and many more besides the repair kits and artifacts that Bozze and Vosk sell.
Right after that are the new sectors coming with the Jump Space content update; unfortunately, that doesn’t include new mission types. These new sectors provide new environments to fight in, giving new views and challenges to experience. However, this may change in future updates, as the new sectors open up more opportunities for the developers.
And last but not least are the sector modifiers coming with the Jump Space content update. These sector modifiers will affect the missions you go on, whether it is good or bad for your crew. Keepsake plans on adding around six to eight sector modifiers with the coming update, like the Legion Strike Force or the Materia Cloud Rich modifier.
The Minor Changes Coming To The Jump Space Content Update

Keepsake also spoke about a few minor additions coming to the Jump Space content update, starting with the holiday events. Keepsake plans to have holiday events that even include exclusive quests for your crew to complete. And for those of you who’ve used the Dart ship, you’ll be glad to know that they’re adding new ways to access the exterior of it.
The other minor additions don’t significantly affect the way the game is played, unfortunately. Besides those two, the rest of the minor changes include the addition of a bar in the hangar and a few other minor changes. But players can see all of that when the update comes out, so until then, get out there and push back against the legion of machines!
