The Lightyear Frontier Country Roads update has just arrived, and it doesn’t disappoint in the slightest. This latest update arrived for Exofarmers on November 17, 2025, just two months after the previous major update. This update adds new ways to transport and gather materials, along with a new way to expand your farm.

The Lightyear Frontier Country Roads update also made numerous adjustments that could overwhelm anyone. This update also features a progression expansion with new tiers and new rewards. Not only that, the developers have made Lightyear Frontier 40% off until December 1, 2025, so keep an eye out for that sale.

The Lightyear Frontier Country Roads update expands upon what you can build and how you can do it. That’s not even the last of it; this update also introduces a new milestone for you to reach. However, let’s not get ahead of ourselves; let’s start with the first of these additions, the new way to obtain more materials.

Players now have access to a machine called the Mineral Extractor, and it makes mineral scarcity a thing of the past. Players can place this machine next to a mineral deposit, and it will passively extract minerals from the ground. And thanks to the next addition, you can move these massive chunks easily with the new Mech Hauling mechanic.

Mechs can now carry and throw large objects like logs, rocks, and mineral chunks. You can deposit them into the new Sawmill and Mineral Crusher for resources, way more than what your tools can get you. Unfortunately, you can only carry so much with your mech alone, which is why you’ll need what we’re talking about next.

The Lightyear Frontier Country Roads update introduces new roads and new wagons for your mech. The wagons allow you to carry even more large objects, and roads let you drive faster and consume less fuel. On the topic of fuel, the latest update also includes new methods of producing fuel for your mech.

The new Oil Mixer enables you to combine different oils to create high-density advanced oils for fuel. These new fuels let your mech run for much longer, and for much less. And speaking of new constructs, such as the Oil Mixer and Sawmill, this update also adds new ones with the next milestone.

The new milestone includes new Mod Chips and constructs, like the Oil Presser II, Grinder II, Furnace II, and Drone Station II. These new constructs will make constructing resources even more efficient, giving players an easier time while crafting. The latest milestone also grants you the benefits of the previous milestones.
