Semiwork has revealed the release date of the REPO Cosmetics update after teasing it for some time. The developers state that the REPO Cosmetics update will arrive on May 7, 2026, less than two weeks away. But what does it contain, and have we seen everything in the new update from the developers’ teasers?
Semiwork, the developers, have teased the contents of the upcoming update several times leading up to its release. These teasers showcase and demonstrate the main attraction of the update, along with its accompanying features. However, these teasers are in separate videos, so I’ve gathered the features and will list them here for you.
The Contents Coming In the REPO Cosmetics Update
Semiwork initially announced the REPO Cosmetics update on November 28, 2025. And ever since its reveal, Semiwork has teased the contents of the update over the course of five months with eight videos. So, without further ado, let’s begin with the main attraction of the upcoming update, the cosmetics.
The Cosmetics
The cosmetics are the main feature coming in the REPO Cosmetics update; it’s in the name, after all. We’ve seen quite a bit of what cosmetics will look like in-game via the teaser videos, ranging from face paints to full-blown outfits. And that’s not all, we’ve also received some confirmation on how it will work in-game, sort of.
While the methods of procuring the various cosmetics aren’t fully known, we do know that they are 100% free to obtain in-game. Not only that, but they’re sorted in various rarities such as Common, Uncommon, Rare, and Ultra Rare. Sadly, that’s all I know regarding the cosmetics, but I may have missed some details.
The New Store and Its Contents
The one-stop shop filled with items for all of your needs is getting a new, or rather old, coat of paint. The REPO Cosmetics update will provide the store with its own cosmetics, but the store will look much older and decrepit in actuality. Don’t worry, the store and its contents will still serve their purpose, and perhaps a bit better with the new items.
Our precious Semibots will gain access to new items to help in their work with the upcoming update. These items include a radio for long-range communication, a defibrillator to revive fallen friends, a vehicle, and new magical weapons for them to combat foes. Of course, there might be a few hidden items that the developers haven’t revealed yet.
The New King of Losers Minigame
While beating your friends into a pancake of scrap is indeed fun, it does get boring after a while. That’s why Semiwork is going to add a new King of Losers minigame into the mix that has a chance to activate alongside the arena version. Instead of beating each other into a pulp, you can now relive your Mario Kart days and break some friendships.
The new racing minigame will pit you against other Semibots in the new Kart vehicle coming in the upcoming update. You and the other Semibots must race to the finish and weave through the course to avoid explosive barrels and rigged paths. Upon reaching the finish line, the winner will become the King of Losers.
Is That All For The REPO Cosmetics Update?
While the upcoming additions of the REPO Cosmetics update are indeed exciting, there’s a high possibility that this isn’t everything. Revealing everything that will arrive in the upcoming update destroys all of the hype and ruins the surprise. So, with that in mind, all we can do now is wait for the update to arrive.
