The Contents Of The Arc Raiders Riven Tides Update
The Arc Raiders Riven Tides update comes packed with content for both Raiders and ARCs, but mostly Raiders. Raiders can find a new location on their map to explore, new tools to use to break falls, and new events to work on. But let’s slow down a bit and start with the new location that the Raiders can explore, the new Riven Tides map.
The Map Location
The Arc Raiders Riven Tides update introduces the Riven Tides map, and Raiders can finally get their much-needed vitamin D. Riven Tides appears on the western coast of the Rust Belt, containing an assortment of luxurious resorts and decrepit dockyards. And because it’s on the coast, you can expect to see beautiful beaches like in those old-world postcards.
You can expect a lot of sand when entering this location, but I don’t think many would mind it, unlike a certain Skywalker.
The New ARC
While strolling on the scenic beaches of Riven Tides, you may encounter the new monstrous threat that the ARC has developed. The threat in question is the new ARC Turbine, a massive flying beast that blots out the sun when near. Information regarding it is scarce, but you’d best be careful when approaching it; it usually leaves you alone if you don’t.
The New Minor Map Condition
While roaming Riven Tides and avoiding the ARC Turbine, you can come upon the new minor map condition for Riven Tides. The map condition, Beachcombing, features buried loot beneath the sands of the beach, and there’s only one way to find them. You have to find the Dockmaster’s Detector to be able to sniff out shiny trinkets in the sand.
However, you can only find the best treasures out in the open, so let’s hope you have a thick skull to bounce those sniper shots.
The New Items
Reports of injuries from falls have skyrocketed, and they’re only getting worse. To combat this, the engineers of Speranza have developed new items for the Raiders to use, thus preventing them from becoming statistics. The new items in question are the Crash Mat and Powered Descender.
The New Events
A new update comes with new events, and the Arc Raiders Rivent Tides update is no different. When logging in, you’ll notice the new event and project for you to complete for various prizes. The event, named Last Resort, will run until May 25, 2026, while the new project, called Avian Alarm, will remain for the foreseeable future.
The Last Resort event rewards you with Merits from the converted experience you gain during gameplay. You can earn extra Merits by extracting miniature Ship Models hidden in various locations. You can spend these Merits to earn the Junior Outfit, Hydrologist backpack, Hose attachment, Brass Faucet charm, new emotes, and 250 Raider Tokens.
The Avian Alarm project, on the other hand, tasks you with building a system to detect tremors and atmospheric changes. You have to deploy cages at buoys along the Riven Tides coastline to catch birds for the system. Rewards include the Dockmaster’s Detector, Gel Patches, Bird House backpack attachment, Fist In Air emote, and 250 Raider Tokens.
