Another Battlefield 6 free trial is here, and it’s for Season 3 High-Value Target. The free trial gives players yet another go at Battlefield’s latest title with all of its new content, as there was another free trial a few weeks ago. This free trial will last from June 30, 2026, to July 6, 2026, a whole week of gameplay.
The latest Battlefield 6 free trial gives players who don’t have the game a chance to try out the contents of Season 3. It even gives a chance to try out a new game mode that the previous free trial didn’t have. So, without another wasted second, let’s take a look at the new free trial and see what it has to offer.
The Contents Of The Battlefield 6 Free Trial For Season 3

As mentioned, the latest Battlefield 6 free trial runs from June 30, 2026, to July 6, 2026, and features a handful of activities for players. While the Season contains much more content for those who own the game, the free trial still offers a decent amount. So, let’s start with what you can do first before we get to the maps.
The Modes You Can Play In The Battlefield 6 Free Trial
The Battlefield 6 free trial features five game modes for free trial users to try, one of which is entirely new. Players can play these modes on four different maps, but we’ll go over the available maps after I list the available game modes. Now, let’s get started with the list of modes so we can get to the maps ASAP.
The five modes in the Battlefield 6 free trial are as follows:
- Tactical Obliteration: A classic Battlefield 4 mode makes its return as the new Battlefield 6 Tactical Obliteration mode. This mode is a smaller version of the standard Obliteration mode, as it only supports 8v8 matches on the appropriate maps. Teams must grab neutrally placed bombs and deliver them to enemy M-COMs.
- Breakthrough: The classic 24v24 attack and defense mode of Battlefield, where the defenders have infinite lives while the attackers don’t. Attackers must capture objectives in each sector before their lives run out. The defenders, on the other hand, must protect one objective until the attacker’s time or lives run out.
- Casual Breakthrough: A casual version of the classic Breakthrough mode where, instead of 48 real players, there are only 16. AI-controlled bots fill in the other 32 player slots; many of you may already know of this concept. This mode allows players to earn XP, albeit at a lesser amount, while playing a much more relaxed game.
- Conquest: The classic Battlefield game mode that pits two teams of 32 against each other in a massive arena full of flags. Both teams must capture as many flags as possible to drain the other team’s tickets first. Obviously, the more flags you have, the more the enemy team’s tickets drain.
- Escalation: This mode is similar to Conquest; two teams of 32 fight to capture as many objectives as possible. However, the map shrinks once a team takes the majority of objectives, and new objectives appear. The winner is the team that captures the most territories.
The Maps You Can Play In The Battlefield 6 Free Trial
The Battlefield 6 free trial includes four maps, with each map featuring a variety of environments to fight in. These maps range from Season 1 maps to maps from the current Season, but that isn’t to say that one is better than the other. And if you’re completely new to Battlefield 6, then it doesn’t really matter, as all of these maps will be new to you.
The four maps in the Battlefield 6 free trial are as follows:
- Railway to Golmud: A classic map from Battlefield 4 made anew with updated designs but with the same feel.
- Cairo Bazaar: Similar to Railway to Golmud, Cairo Bazaar is an old map making a reappearance in Battlefield 6. Cairo Bazaar was originally released in Battlefield 3 back in 2011.
- Containment: A map exclusive to Battlefield 6 set in an open mountain range full of long-range engagement opportunities.
- Eastwood: Yet another original Battlefield 6 map, Eastwood takes place in a suburban neighborhood in southern California.
