The Arma Reforger Operation Omega update arrived on October 30, 2025, just a day before the spookiest day of the year. But don’t worry, this update doesn’t contain anything scary, aside from the new tools for ambushes. Besides the tools, this update adds a beloved map into the Enfusion engine, an overhauled game mode, and some new single-player experiences.
The Arma Reforger Operation Omega update also includes improvements to existing gameplay and core mechanics. Many of these improvements originate from Arma’s previous titles, which lend the game greater realism and immersion. So, enough beating around the bush, let’s see what the Arma Reforger Operation Omega update has in store.
What The Arma Reforger Operation Omega Update Adds

One of the first additions that the Arma Reforger Operation Omega update adds is the reimagined Kolguyev map. Kolguyev was originally from Arma Cold War Assault, released on June 22, 2001, and now resides in Arma Reforger. With the help of the Enfusion engine, the rugged volcanic island has looked better than ever before.
Not only that, you can play the new, reworked Conflict game mode on the reimagined Kolguyev map. Conflict has changed into Headquarters Commander, a rendition of Conflict where you can step into the boots of a commander. The commander manages the war effort by assigning player squads tasks and AI squads logistic tasks to lead their team to victory.
However, if multiplayer isn’t your cup of tea, the Arma Reforger Operation Omega update also adds new single-player options. The first of these options is the Operation Omega campaign that drops you behind enemy lines. This campaign puts you in the boots of a special forces team operating on Kolguyevl.
The next single-player option added in the Arma Reforger Operation Omega update is actually a scenario called Air Support. This scenario focuses on piloting skills rather than the boots-on-the-ground skills of standard infantry. In Air Support, you’re tasked with transport, fire support, and logistical missions, all involving an aerial vehicle.
But let’s return to the multiplayer front with the new additions to the weapon arsenal of Arma Reforger. The Arma Reforger Operation Omega update brings in the RPG-22 and RPG-75, and more warheads for the RPG-7. Anti-personnel mines are now in Arma Reforger to create deadly ambushes and chokepoints against enemies or careless teammates.
Hand-fired flares are also available to light up the night sky or to mark target positions. Players will also notice new camouflage patterns for the US and USSR; these patterns are the US Tiger Stripe and USSR TTsKO. So for those of you who love your Arma fashion, Bohemia Interactive still remembers you.
The Arma Reforger Operation Omega update also overhauled a few other systems. For example, you can now move and shoot on vehicles, HOTAS support is now available, and foliage and projectiles react to wind effects. There are also performance improvements to give players a smoother gameplay experience.
Is This All In The Arma Reforger Operation Omega Update?

The Arma Reforger Operation Omega update contains a massive list of changes and additions. But the listed changes and additions above are just a taste of the Arma Reforger Operation Omega update. The rest of the changes are so minor you may never notice them in-game, but they still improve the game in little ways.
And the best way to experience these tiny improvements and changes is to play Arma Reforger for yourself. But why worry about the little things when you’ve got an objective to take? So get in the transport and PLAY THE OBJECTIVE!
