And while the insight in question doesn’t offer the entire image of what’s to come, it’s still better than absolutely nothing. The REPO community is definitely lucky as they get plenty of hints regarding the next update, unlike other communities.
The recent REPO Kart Racing reveal showcases a new activity for the Semibots to partake in, along with other goodies. While these other goodies aren’t directly acknowledged, we still see them in action. Let’s analyze what the developers of REPO have shown us in their latest video and see what it could mean for the future update.
The Additions Shown In The Recent REPO Kart Racing Reveal
The REPO Kart Racing reveal video showcased three things coming in the Cosmetics update for REPO. The three things are the new vehicle, cosmetics, and a variant of the King of the Losers. Let’s start with the first and main attraction of the upcoming Cosmetics update, the cosmetics themselves.
The Cosmetics
The upcoming Cosmetics update obviously focuses on the cosmetics for your Semibot, hence the name. These cosmetics contain various colours, cosmetic items, parts for your Semibot, and face paint. Another amazing thing about these cosmetics is that you can mix and match them for some fun combinations for your Semibot.
You can see some of these cosmetics in action in the latest video from Semiworks, the developers of REPO. These cosmetics will now allow you to distinguish yourself more than just a simple colour swap. The methods of acquiring these cosmetics aren’t known, but we’ll keep an eye out for them for all of you REPO fans.
The Vehicle
Next on the list of additions in the Cosmetics update is the new vehicle coming to a shop near you. The vehicle coming in the next update is the new one-seater Semiscooter, which will appear in the shop. However, it’s not guaranteed to spawn, so you’ll have to save up and keep an eye out for it if you want to get your hands on it.
The Semiscooter features a one-seat configuration for your Semibot to sit and control the vehicle. The Semiscooter also comes with a storage unit for small valuables. However, as good as it sounds, you’ll have to watch where you’re going in the Semiscooter as it will take damage if you drive carelessly.
The Kart Racing Mode
With the new Semiscooter in mind, the next addition shouldn’t surprise you, as it’s the Kart Racing mode from the REPO Kart Racing reveal. The Kart Racing mode will act as a variant of the King of Losers mini game when your crew fails to fulfill your quota. In this mode, you must either outlast your competition or take the crown for yourself.
However, it’s not going to be a cake walk, as shown in the REPO Kart Racing reveal video. Although it’s a work in progress, the video shows that you’ll be doing drifts, tight turns, and jumps across the entire course. The race course will also feature speed boost pads that will surge you forward in speed.

Although it’s called the Cosmetics update, Semiwork is including as much content as they can before releasing it to the public.
