But is there a difference between the new Battlefield 6 Training Paths compared to the old Battlefield 5 Combat Roles?

And as the news spreads of the open beta, more players will wonder how the Battlefield 6 Training Paths work. Additionally, how important are the Battlefield 6 Training Paths to the game? So what are the Battlefield 6 Training Paths, and how will they impact the experience in the open beta?

The Battlefield 6 Training Paths are available for all four classes, but only one path is available for each class in the beta. And each Training Path is separated into four levels, with each one requiring experience to unlock in combat. With each level, the player improves their class as they fight on and rack up experience.

The four levels perform the same for every class, with each level giving something unique to that class. To put it simply, level zero is where everyone starts and provides a passive buff according to the Training Path. While levels one and two amplify the abilities of that class, level three gives an ability that can spearhead your team’s advance.

The Training Paths for each class in the Battlefield 6 open beta are as follows:

The Assault Frontliner Training Path:

  • Level Zero: The Assault class isn’t affected by the movement penalties of aiming down sights right off the bat.
  • Level One: The Assault class gains an additional use of their Adrenaline Injector.
  • Level Two: Health regeneration heals more and takes less time to activate.
  • Level Three: The Assault class gains an ability to inject a combat stimulant that accentuates enemy sounds and reveals their positions. This effect lasts for five seconds, but is extendable with kills.

The Engineer Anti-Armor Training Path:

  • Level One: After gaining enough points, Engineers can reload their launchers faster.
  • Level Two: Vehicles hit by rockets from a level two Engineer receive less health from repairs.
  • Level Three: Engineers gain the ability to increase the amount of repairs their blow torch does for a limited time.

The Support Combat Medic Training Path:

  • Level Zero: Teammates can grab health packs right off of Support players for heals on the go.
  • Level One: Support players immediately start to regenerate their health when reviving a teammate.
  • Level Two: Enhances the stats of defensive gadgets, such as the Deployable Cover.
  • Level Three: The Support class can temporarily become a mobile supply station, resupplying their team with ammo on the move. This ability also lets Support players revive their team in 2.5 seconds.

The Recon Sniper Training Path:

  • Level Zero: Improves the Aim Spotting Signature Trait by making it activate faster, farther, and for longer.
  • Level One: Enemies hit by a sniper rifle from a Recon receive less healing from regeneration and fellow Support players.
  • Level Two: Enemies hit in the head by a level two Recon’s sniper rifle become unrevivable.
  • Level Three: Recon players gain access to a personal General Atomics MQ-1 Predator drone. This drone orbits the player and passively spots enemies for the player and their team.

The Battlefield 6 Training Paths give an extra layer of depth to their gameplay experience. Unfortunately, there is only one Training Path for each class in the open beta. But once Battlefield 6 fully releases, each class will have two Training Paths, similar to the Combat Roles in Battlefield 5.
