Wuthering Waves Tower of Adversity Delayed: Here’s Why

Wuthering Waves' anticipated Tower of Adversity update is delayed
Reading Time: 2 minutes

The Wuthering Waves Tower of Adversity is delayed. Usually, it resets every 14 days, but this time, it may take longer to return. Let’s explore why it is changing and how it can impact players.

Wuthering Waves is a worthy contender for Genshin Impact in the Gacha game genre. Its player base increases wherever there is a new update. Like all other gacha games, Wuthering Waves also offers a game mode to fight battles against enemies.

Tower of Adversity in Wuthering Waves

The Tower of Adversity has a time reset segment called Hazard Zone. The Hazard Zone has 10 levels of challenges. Each level offers a time trial challenge with increasing difficulty as players progress. Each level offers powerful overworld enemies. A total of 24 Crests or stars can be obtained after defeating all the level enemies and bosses.

Players can get 700 Astrites after completing the Hazard Zone with maximum Crests. Therefore, players can get up to 1400 Astrites by completing the Hazard Zone. And because it resets twice a month, it is easier for f2p players to get their desired character by completing Tower of Adversity challenges in Wuthering Waves.

However, with the upcoming reset date, which is February 3rd, 2025, Wuthering Waves will change the reset time for the Tower of Adversity Hazard Zone.

Tower of Adversity Change & New Game Mode

Wuthering Waves 2.1 update is on its way. The new update will change the reset time for Tower of Adversity. The upcoming reset date is February 3, 2025. But after that, the next reset date will be March 3, 2025, about a month from its reset. Therefore, players will only get a maximum of 700 Astrites each month.

To balance the change, Wuthering Waves is adding a new and permanent weekly challenge mode called Whimpering Wastes. Each week offers players over 175-200 Astrites. After each week’s challenges, players will get around 700-800 Astrites. Therefore, players will get more rewards than the previous Tower of Adversity updates.

Wuthering Waves ToA reset time change will give players more time to build their characters and teams. And with the addition of the new weekly challenge, Whimpering Wastes, players will get a new way to farm Astrites and enjoy the game to its fullest. With Wuthering Waves 2.1 update, players get a new set of challenges to master.
