The first ever banner Wuthering Waves introduced was Jiyan (23rd May 2024 – 13th June 2024), the first 5-star character during its launch and stayed for 21 days. Jiyan is an Aero-DPS with an amazing set of skills and combat style. To get the character, players need to save Astrites (in-game currency) to buy Radiant Tide (a type of token). By using Radiant Tide, players can wish on these banners and get a chance to get their desired character.

The next character was Yinlin (6th June 2024 – 27th June 2024), an Electro Sub-DPS. She was one of the most awaited characters during her first release because of her abilities and a special set of animations. She is a versatile character and the best support for Electro-DPS characters such as Xiangli Yao & Calcharo.

After Yinlin, Zhezhi (15th August 2024 – 7th September 2024) was the next 5-Star Sub-DPS character with Glacio element. She is one of the best buffers for all Glacio DPS characters, especially Carlotta. She can go off-field and still provide attack buff to the active character.

Xiangli Yao (7th September 2024 – 28th September 2024), an Electro-DPS, was the first 5-star banner character that was given to players for free in Wuthering Waves by Kuro Games. He is one the best DPS for an electro-damage-based team. His abilities and combo attacks are easy to use with a high and consistent Ultimate ability damage.

The Shorekeeper (29th September 2024 – 24th October 2024) is considered the best Healer-Buffer character in Wuthering Waves. She is versatile and can fit in all types of teams. Her heals are consistent, as well as her Crit.Rate and Crit.DMG buffs. Players are eagerly waiting for her Rerun Banner, and according to some rumors, players may get the rerun in Version 2.2.

Camellya (14th November 2024 – 12th December 2024) was introduced during one story quest, and players were eagerly waiting for her. Then, Kuro Games released her in Version 1.4. She is currently the most powerful Havoc DPS in the game. Her abilities and playstyle is very unique. During her battle, she can change her fighting style from using her sword to using a whip and floating in the air.

Wuthering Waves: Latest Version Banners

After Version 1.4, Wuthering Waves jumped numbers and gave us Version 2.0. In this version update, they introduced a new story and a completely new map area. The first new character of this version was Carlotta (2nd January 2025 – 23rd January 2025). She is the first 5-Star Cryo Pistol user. Her damage output is similar to Camellya.

Version 1.4 also introduced a new Havoc Sub-DPS, Roccia (23rd January 2025 – 12th February 2025), and she is currently the ongoing banner in the game. Roccia is really good support for Camellya. She provides Havoc and a basic damage bonus to active characters. Players can wish on her banner, but if they have S6 (sequence node 6) Sanhua, they do not need Roccia as Sub-DPS for Camellya.

Wuthering Waves: Future Banner of Version 2.1

Wuthering Waves Version 2.1 is almost here, and players are excited for the upcoming new characters, Phoebe and Brant. Phoebe will be a Spectro DPS who uses a Rectifier. And Brant will be a Fusion Sword user and a Sub-DPS. Both of them are next-gen characters and can be beneficial for players who want to clear end-game content like Tower of Adversity.

Wuthering Waves is consistently improving its game, and with each version update, it introduces new characters who are unique in their own way. With their Rerun Banners, players gain another chance to get their earlier desired characters.
