The Sunderfolk 2.0 patch has arrived, and it brings some much-needed additions to the game. Some of these additions in the latest update were requested by the community, in fact. And with these requested additions implemented, fans are more than happy, as the developers are listening to their voices.
As mentioned, the Sunderfolk 2.0 patch introduces a couple of additions that fans have asked for for some time. However, this patch doesn’t contain only fan-requested additions; the developers have added in their own flair, and it’s just as good. So, let’s not waste our time and dive right into the additions of the latest update.
The Contents Of The Sunderfolk 2.0 Patch

The fan requested additions to the Sunderfolk 2.0 patch, including several expansions for the Sunderfolk experience on PC. This patch also adds several new gameplay elements that will spice up your next session of Sunderfolk. But let’s not get ahead of ourselves, let’s slow it down and discuss the first addition, the improvements to the PC experience.
The PC Improvements In The Sunderfolk 2.0 Patch
Out of all of the additions of the Sunderfolk 2.0 patch, the improvements to the PC experience might reign supreme. Players can now play Sunderfolk on PC with controls made for mouse and keyboard. Not only that, but you and your friends can play on PC without the need for the controller app.
You and up to three other players can join in on the Sunderfolk fun on PC with the Sunderfolk 2.0 patch. All you need to do is either host or join via a lobby code, and you can get right to adventuring without the need for the controller app. Unfortunately, only players with a PC copy can join in on the online PC multiplayer fun.
The New Playable Hero In The Sunderfolk 2.0 Patch
This update also introduces an adorable new hero for your merry band of playable animal heroes. And that new hero is none other than the Vanguard, a tiny but fearsome Dipodoidea duelist. This tiny melee tank can use its massive sword to clear the way of any foes who dare stand in the way or insult its size.
The Vanguard can dish out damage, soak up damage, and protect teammates by pushing enemies away all at once. The only thing that really holds you back as the Vanguard is your limited turns. But deciding whether to protect, attack, or tank shouldn’t be too hard for you when you play the Vanguard, right?
The New Missions In The Sunderfolk 2.0 Patch
Alongside the new hero, this patch also introduces two new mission types for your party to participate in. The missions in question are the Arena Rumble and Sacred Sand missions, and both of these missions feature their own mechanics. These mechanics distinguish these missions from their peers by providing a unique experience, and they do exactly that.
The Arena Rumble mission sees you and your party fighting in an arena to reach the very top. You fight through hordes of enemies and eventually a boss at each stage, but it doesn’t stop there; you have to face the champion. After climbing the brackets, you can face the arena champion yourself and have the opportunity to take the title for yourself.
On the other hand, the Sacred Sand mission sees you assisting the Sacred Bug in taking back her home from an ancient foe. As the Sacred Bug is guiding you through her home, you can expect new foes to appear along with puzzles to solve. And at the end of the journey, you must reclaim a sacred totem from a monumental threat.
Is That All For The Sunderfolk 2.0 Patch?

That is indeed all of the Sunderfolk 2.0 update, at least for the content additions. Similar to other game patches, this patch also includes a multitude of smaller and rather minor bug fixes and gameplay tweaks. While these fixes and adjustments are just as important as the content, there are still too many and too minor to include.
Don’t worry, these fixes and adjustments will improve your gameplay experience, even if you don’t notice. So what are you waiting for? A new adventure awaits you and your merry party!
