The core features that ’83 has include the Norwegian Fjord map, Assault game mode, several character classes, and various weapons and equipment. The Norwegian Fjord is a mountainous environment with vertical gameplay, lush terrain, and claustrophobic chokepoints. And players get to play the Assault mode on this map, where two teams must either attack or defend various objectives.
The two teams that players can play as in the demo are the NATO and PACT factions. As of the demo, NATO contains the United States Army, and PACT contains the Soviet Ground Forces, so you’ll see some familiar weapons in the arsenal.
