A new Jet Brigade has arrived in Helldivers 2, bringing new enemies and a new Major Order. On June 26, 2025, the Automaton scourge returned once again with an earlier sub-faction, brandishing new enemy units. The Automatons launched an invasion on two fronts, with both Curia and Bekvam III falling victim, and many more to come.
As mentioned above, this isn’t the first time the sub-faction has appeared. The Jet Brigade has appeared several times in the past and has been defeated just the same. The history of the Jet Brigade has been an embarrassing failure for the Automatons, so could this be yet another failure for the Automatons, or could this be its proper resurgence?
Who Are The New Helldivers 2 Jet Brigade Enemies
The Jet Brigade in Helldivers 2 is a sub-faction of the Automatons. A sub-faction is a special version of a faction that acts like its standard version. Sub-factions act as the faction’s special units, the Predator strain as the Terminids’ fast and stealthy ambush artists, the blazing hot Incinerator Corp, and the soaring Jet Brigade.
The Jet Brigade was nothing but Automaton Troopers with stolen Super Earth technology, relying on reverse engineering Helldiver equipment instead of making their own. Following multiple defeats at the hands of the brave Helldivers, they knew improvements were needed. Thus, the prolonged absence of the Jet Brigade.
For a while, Helldivers scoffed at how pathetic the Jet Brigade was, even forgetting about them. But just as Helldivers finished their campaign against the Illuminate Invasion of Super Earth and Terminids to rebuild it, the socialist Automatons strike once again with their Jet Brigade. After a month of the Jet Brigade’s disappearance, they return with two new enemy units that make the Jet Brigade even more formidable.
Given the current information, there are two new Jet Brigade units present in this invasion. The Jet Brigade Devastator and Jet Brigade Hulk both wield a jump pack to quickly close distances. The new enemies behave like their standard counterparts, except with more mobility thanks to their jump packs.
As more information arises, the Major Order to fight the Jet Brigade still rages on as of June 27, 2025. It is unknown about the true intent of this invasion, besides the destruction of freedom itself. So stay vigilant out there, Helldivers, and face the new enemy!
