Another update has arrived for Gunner Heat PC, bearing numerous gifts for the game and its players. Like previous updates, this Gunner Heat PC update introduces new content and optimizations for the game, but it also serves another purpose. This update overhauls the audio systems of Gunner Heat PC, and more importantly, reworks a beloved beast.
This Gunner Heat PC update reworks both M1 Abrams models with brand-new internal and external systems. Furthermore, the audio system receives an overhaul that bolsters the already immersive soundscape of Gunner Heat PC. But what do these changes actually do, and how do they affect the gameplay for players?
The Major Changes In The Gunner Heat PC Update

The first change in the new Gunner Heat PC update affects one of the most famous tanks of this century. The hulking war machine that raced through the hilly forests of Germany with its bark and mean bite. Some call it the Beast, the Whispering Death, even Dracula himself, but all know its real name, the M1 Abrams.
The M1 Abrams Rework
Gunner Heat PC is the digital home to one of the most famous tanks in the world. The M1 Abrams has been in the game since its conception and features in many levels of Gunner Heat PC. But it has remained relatively unchanged since its addition, with only minor updates to its in-game portrayal.
This update to Gunner Heat PC aims to revamp the visuals and systems of the M1 Abrams and M1IP. The first of these improvements is the addition of the commander’s weapon station on top of the M1 Abrams. It features the M2HB machine gun, chambered in .50 caliber, for anti-infantry and anti-aircraft purposes.
The M2HB is functional from inside the Abrams and has its own gunsight, similar to the M85 on the M60 tanks. Allowing the commander to engage lightly armored targets and infantry without exposure to bullets and shrapnel from outside. And while the commander is inside, he will notice the new changes made to the interior of the M1 Abrams.
The Abrams receives a completely overhauled damage model with the new update to Gunner Heat PC. The Abrams now features a fighting compartment full of vital equipment and support structures, unlike its empty precursor. Center mass shots will now harm the Abrams much more, such as igniting flammable components like hydraulics and ammunition boxes.
The Abrams also received numerous changes to its external model, too many to count and list, unfortunately. But some eagle-eyed players may notice these changes and appreciate the developers for adding them. Aside from the changes to the M1 Abrams, this update also overhauled the soundscape of Gunner Heat PC.
The Overhauled Vehicle Audio
The audio engineers for Gunner Heat PC have made great strides in improving the audio system for vehicles. They’ve completely changed the sounds of moving vehicles, replacing the repetitive track noise and suspension sounds with more dynamic audio. The noises made while driving will now respond to exactly what the machine is doing.
The new noises produced from driving include tire noises, track pin strain, torsion bar flex, and various rattles and vibrations. The sounds you’d hear from a 70 or so ton vehicle careening through the German countryside. Though this overhaul doesn’t just affect the sounds that come from outside the machine, it also changes the internal audio.
For the moments when you’re sitting still, there are now a handful of switch click sounds for optical controls. These sounds resemble the actual sounds of the knobs and switches from the real-life vehicles in Gunner Heat PC. These range from the polarity switch on the Abrams to the clicks of the zoom wheel on the Soviet gunsights.
The Minor Changes In The Gunner Heat PC Update

The new update in Gunner Heat PC also contains several minor additions to the game that are just as important. Like the implementation of the new “disable vegetation interaction” option in the graphics settings, which reduces your CPU load. There have also been optimization changes made, but there are way too many to detail.
Besides that, this update also brings a new instant action mission for you to jump in and play. This mission is named “Echelon Engagement” in Fulda Outskirts, and it sees you playing as the West German Bundeswehr. And you’ll have to engage Soviet/East German forces as they advance towards your position.
These are the notable changes made in the Gunner Heat PC update, meaning there are more to discover. But reading a list all day isn’t all that fun, so boot up Gunner Heat PC, command your favorite vehicle, and uncover the new changes yourself!
