Sony has announced the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond, and fans are ecstatic to learn of it. The stealthy Redacted Regiment Warbond will release on January 20, 2026, as ironic as that is to know when the stealth Warbond is releasing. If it isn’t apparent already, the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond focuses on stealth and sabotage.

The official Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond announcement isn’t the first time fans saw its existence. The upcoming Warbond was, in fact, leaked months before its proper announcement and subsequent release. So let’s see what the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond has to offer and how it differs from its leaks.

The Contents Of The Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond

As mentioned, we’ve spoken about the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond before in a previous article. Nevertheless, this Warbond was unfinished at the time, so its stats were either inaccurate or missing entirely. But now that its official announcement is live, its stats are where they’re supposed to be.

The Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond is chock-full of interesting new toys for the Helldivers. Most of which focus on stealth, but for the chaotic Helldivers out there, there are some toys just for you. The Warbond also contains the standard Warbond contents, like various cosmetic items and Super Credits.

The stealthy and exciting contents of the Redacted Regiment Warbond are as follows:

• The R-72 Censor: The R-72 Censor is a mid-range marksman rifle with an integrated suppressor for stealth. The Censor comes with a high-powered scope, allowing Helldivers to pick off enemies from range. Unfortunately, the Consor only fires in semi-auto, but if you want a higher fire rate, look no further than the AR-59.
• The AR-59 Suppressor: The AR-59 is a short to mid-range assault rifle with a non-removable suppressor. It features a high fire rate, similar to the AR-23A Liberator Carbine, though it certainly doesn’t match. The AR-59 acts as a sort of middle ground between the standard Liberator and the Liberator Carbine.
• The P-35 Re-Educator: A unique weapon, the P-35 Re-Educator is a six-shooter that fires darts containing delirium-inducing gas. While not as lethal as its counterparts, the P-35 is perfect for disengaging when caught. Simply administer the darts to your spotters and merge with the shadows once more.
• The TM-01 Lure Mine: The TM-01 is the first throwable anti-personnel mine in the Helldivers’ armory. When thrown, the TM-01 sticks to a surface and produces enthralling sounds and lights to lure enemies to it. After which, it explodes when enemies enter its proximity fuse.
• The RS-67 Null Cipher: The Null Cipher is a medium armor coated in a radar-absorbent polymer and null-signature heat baffle. These highly advanced stealth systems enable the Null Cipher armor to render its user a ghost to infrared and electronic detection systems. The RS-67 Null Cipher features the new Reduced Signature armor passive.
• The RS-89 Shadow Paragon: The RS-89 features a multitude of pads and pouches to hold the essentials for stealth. The RS-89 has the light armor class, thus allowing its user to swiftly infiltrate enemy positions without getting spotted. This armor also features the Reduced Signature armor passive.
• The Reduced Signature Armor Passive: Although not entirely unique, the Reduced Signature armor passive still provides something new. With the combination of the Scout and Feet First armor passive, the Reduced Signature passive is the ultimate stealth armor passive. With Reduced Signature, Helldivers are harder to spot and produce less noise while moving.
• The B/MD C4 Pack: The C4 Pack stratagem comes with a backpack full of C4 and a handheld detonator. Each C4 deals massive damage, fully capable of destroying ammo stockpiles, fabricators, and anything short of a Hulk. Helldivers can place multiple C4 charges before detonating them, hopefully from a safe distance.
• The Concealed Insertion Booster: The Concealed Insertion booster is yet another booster for the Hellpod. Similar to the Firebomb Hellpod and Stun Pod booster, the Concealed Insertion booster is a kind of status effect booster. After impact, the Hellpod produces a cloud of smoke to conceal the Helldiver’s exit.

As mentioned, the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond also contains several other cosmetic items. Namely, capes, player banners, a player title, and an emote.

How Will The Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond Compare To Other Warbonds?

The Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond will certainly stand out amongst its peers, featuring a new playstyle. However, it’s not the be-all and end-all; that’s undoubtedly not Arrowhead’s design philosophy. The Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond caters to the stealth divers, enhancing their already lethal capabilities.

So, the Helldivers 2 Redacted Regiment Warbond won’t nuke the competition; in fact, there is no competition. Each Warbond either introduces players to a new playstyle or enhances their current playstyle. But in the end, all that matters is that you have fun, so grab whatever Warbond you find cool and use it as you wish.
