The Space Marine 2 demo will release on October 16, 2025, on Steam, Xbox Series X|S, and PS5. The duration of this demo spans from October 16 to 23 on Steam and from October 16 to 20 on consoles. The demo contains a limited assortment of campaign, PvE, and PvP content for everyone to try.
Before we delve into the demo, some fans wonder if progress is lost once the demo ends. Thankfully, progress is retained once the demo ends, meaning that players will keep all of the progress made in the demo. Allowing players who purchase the game to keep the progress made in the Space Marine 2 demo.

The Space Marine 2 demo contains a couple of levels from the Space Marine 2 campaign for players to try. These include the prologue mission, Rain of Terror, and the first campaign mission, Skyfire, both of which see you fighting tyranids as Demetrian Titus. Unfortunately, these campaign levels won’t allow you to show the followers of Tzeentch the errors of their ways.

The PvE Content Of The Space Marine 2 Demo

The Space Marine 2 demo will contain three operations that you can enjoy with up to two other friends. These three operations include Inferno, Decapitation, and Vox Liberatis, the latter of which contains the Thousand Sons. All three operations offer different challenges and unique objectives, so don’t worry about the fun stagnating.
But if fighting against hordes of heretics with your battle brothers isn’t your jam, then there are other options.

Instead of just fighting alongside your brothers, you can also fight against your brothers who have turned traitor. In the demo, you’ll have access to all PvP game modes except for Helbrute Onslaught. Thus, giving you a chance of putting down your traitorous brothers, or a chance to show your brainwashed brothers the truth of chaos.

The Space Marine 2 demo allows players to try out the game before purchasing it. The Space Marine 2 demo features various levels and modes from several game modes in Space Marine 2. Despite the demo only allowing players to try out a few things from the game, it won’t limit you in how you play.
