In Fractured Utopias, you can play as eight already known factions, such as the Technocrats and the Legionnaires.
Each of the eight factions offers different play styles that shape the utopia that you’re going to create. Once you choose the faction you wish to play as, you instantly gain access to that faction’s exclusive skill tree. Exclusive skill trees contain faction-exclusive buildings, hubs, and abilities.
Each faction also has its own set of feats, which provide passive boosts that enhance the stability and productivity of your city. Unlike other games, you’ll notice your city slowly get influenced by your selected faction as it evolves. This detail makes your choice of faction change more than just the skill tree you gain.
You’ll notice these influences through the eight new faction-exclusive hub and housing district variants. Each faction building variant offers distinctive benefits to help your citizens survive the bitter cold. The Update Alongside The Release Of Frostpunk 2 Fractured Utopias
Frostpunk 2 Fractured Utopias isn’t the only content release for Frostpunk 2; a free update has also arrived. This free update introduces a never-before-seen feature in any strategy game, according to the developers. That feature is the Tales mechanic, a brand new way to shake up the usual gameplay loop by introducing new challenges.
Choose from a roster of Tales, ranging from dealing with a city-wide plague to managing a growing group of pessimistic doom sayers.
