Valve has shaken up the entire community with the Counter-Strike 2 magazine changes in the latest patch. These changes have completely changed how the guns in CS2 work, but not in the way you might think. Although it’s seemingly a small change, it has completely changed how the game plays, but is it for the better?
If you’ve played anything from the Helldivers series, then the Counter-Strike 2 magazine changes shouldn’t confuse you too much. If you haven’t played the Helldivers series or anything similar, then you’ve come to the right place. So, let’s get right into it so that you can get into your next CS2 game with everything you need to know ASAP.
The Counter-Strike 2 Magazine Changes And The Weapons They Affect

With the recent Counter-Strike 2 magazine changes, reloading in CS2 has changed, for better or worse. Instead of dumping your remaining rounds into your reserve when reloading, you’ll be reloading your actual magazine. Meaning, if you reload a magazine full of ammo, that mag and its contents are lost.
Due to this significant change, Valve has made adjustments to several weapons. These adjustments include price, total ammo, accuracy, and possibly other changes that Valve hasn’t mentioned. So, let’s start with how the Counter-Strike 2 magazine changes affect pistols, the beloved tool of John Wick.
