The Grounded 2 Playground mode has made its return from the first Grounded game, and it opens up a world of possibilities. The Playground mode gives players access to a massive roster of tools that could rival the very science that shrunk you. With these tools, players can create anything their minds can conjure up.

If it isn’t obvious, the Grounded 2 Playground mode is this game’s version of a creative mode, but it has a few more tricks up its sleeve. In addition to being able to build to your heart’s desires, you can do a little more than just sculpting. So without a moment more, let’s see what the new tools you have at your disposal can do.

The Possibilities With The Grounded 2 Playground Mode

The Grounded 2 Playground mode introduces players to everything it had to offer in the first game and much more. Not only can you build without needing to worry about resources, but you can also create some neat contraptions that could rival Rube Goldberg. You can even take it a step further and create your own games with the Playground mode.

As mentioned, you can build to your heart’s content, but with special tools, you can take it a step further. With the Volume Trigger tool, you can place a trip wire zone that activates anything it’s connected to when a player walks into it. And if you connect it to Creature Spawner zones, you can set up traps to surprise other players.

If you combine your inner architecture and Bart Simpson, then you can make an awesome dungeon. You can even add in arena sections that spawn waves of enemies for you to defeat with the various other tools. You can also set up trip wire zones that spring traps to keep players who enter your dungeon on their feet.

And when you’re satisfied with your dungeon of dubious encounters, then you can share it with your friends or with the wider community. When shared, players can download, play, and even vote on how good your level is. Of course, you can do the same with other shared creations, so that you can explore the brilliant minds of other creators.

Obviously, it doesn’t stop at just dungeons; you can create puzzles, minigames, combat arenas, and much more. But who am I to limit what you can create from that mind of yours with a mere list? The possibilities are endless if you put your mind to it; someone did make a working computer in Minecraft, after all.

Is That All For The Grounded 2 Playground Mode?

While it looks limited at first, the Grounded 2 Playground mode gives you everything for your limitless mind to flourish. So boot up Grounded 2 and see what the Grounded 2 Playground mode has in store for you; you may be able to make a name for yourself in the community. But you can only do that if you put your heart into it, so go ahead and start experimenting!
