The Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul is right around the corner, and it could revive the Battlebit name. Many of you may remember Battlebit Remastered; it was everywhere on the internet at one point. Battlebit Remastered arrived on June 15, 2023, and it didn’t take long for players to spread the word.
Battlebit Remastered charmed gamers with its intense Battlefield-like gameplay and game-wide proximity chat. Unfortunately, without any new updates or content drops, the game’s popularity withered over the years. But that could all change with the recent announcement of the Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul and its playtest.
What You Need To Know About The Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul Playtest

The Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul playtest was initially teased in June of this year by the developers. The teaser provided a glimpse of reworked gameplay that the developers have been developing for a year and a half. And five months later, on October 14, 2025, they announced an upcoming playtest for the Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul.
In that announcement, the developers also announced the playtest for this new operation sometime in late November of this year. And on November 23, 2025, they finally announced the dates for the Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul playtests. The playtests will begin on November 29, 2025, at these times:

- 11:00 am MST (UTC -7)
- 12:00 pm CST (UTC -6)
- 1:00 pm EST (UTC -5)
- 3:00 pm BRT (UTC -3)
- 6:00 pm GMT (UTC ±0)
- 7:00 pm CET (UTC +1)
- 9:00 pm MSK (UTC +3)
- 11:00 pm YEKT (UTC +5)
- 2:00 am (November 30) CST (UTC +8)
- 3:00 am (November 30) JST (UTC +9)
- 5:00 am (November 30) AEDT (UTC +11)
The purpose of this playtest is to detect and squash any bugs present in the game, so expect buggy shenanigans to happen. Besides the purpose of the test, players can expect to experience the new gameplay, UI, QOL, balancing, graphics, and much more. Players can also expect the beloved features of Battlebit Remastered to join in on the test, as it is the core features after all.
The playtest will last for four hours, and players will gain access to all weapons and gadgets during the test. Weapons will have around half of their total attachments available right off the bat, so don’t worry about using stock weapons. Players can play on Kodiak, Mesa, and Valley, which will switch with player votes.
Anyone who owns the game can participate in the Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul playtest via Steam. All you have to do is switch the game version in the game properties from your Steam game library. After selecting the correct version, you’ll download the playtest version, and if you want to play the standard version, you’ll need to download the normal version again.
Is There Only One Playtest For Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul?

Fortunately, this isn’t the only test for Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul. The test on November 29, 2025, is just the first of a series of playtests for Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul. After the first test, subsequent tests will be scheduled on the upcoming weekends, so you’ll get your chance to try out the Battlebit Remastered Operation Overhaul playtest.
More information will be made available when the first playtest goes live, but there’s enough information to understand what you’re getting into.
