The Valorant 12.0 patch notes are here, and they contain a host of exciting additions for all agents. The 12.0 patch marks itself as the first patch for Valorant in the big year of 2026, and it certainly won’t be the last. As mentioned, the Valorant 12.0 patch notes feature quite a handful of additions, but we’ll only mention the more important ones.

The Valorant 12.0 patch notes and the patch alongside it arrived on January 6, 2026, for agents around the world. The Valorant 12.0 patch notes include adjustments for various agents, maps, and even add a few new things as well. So, let’s get down to business and talk about the key additions of the Valorant 12.0 patch notes.

The first addition of the Valorant 12.0 patch notes is possibly the most interesting addition for this patch. And that would be the Bandit, a precision pistol with one-tap potential that sits between the Ghost and Sheriff. The Bandit costs 600 credits and can one-tap heavy shields at close range and light shields at medium range.

The Bandit has an eight-round magazine with 24 rounds in reserve in case you aren’t the most accurate. The Bandit’s price of 600 credits offers an additional option for agents who want to run a light round. The Bandit is also the first gun added in the last two years since the Outlaw, which got added on January 9, 2024.

Moving along to the next topic, we’ve got the agent changes section of the Valorant 12.0 patch notes. The first of the two agents that received considerable changes is Sage, the OG healer of the Valorant roster. Sage can now heal allies even if the mid and lower sections of their models become blocked by geometry.

The last agent to receive a considerable change is Tejo, as his Special Delivery and Stealth Drone have received reworks. Special Delivery had its concussion duration reduced from four seconds to 2.5 in exchange for damage from the blast. Stealth Drone now fully reveals enemies instead of pinging their location, but its pulse radius is now 16m instead of 30.

Up next in the Valorant 12.0 patch notes is the complete rework and reintroduction of Breeze. Riot Games has reduced angle complexity, tightened open spaces, and improved rotation times for defenders across the board. Breeze RR losses are reduced by 50%, while wins are still 100%, for the first two weeks to allow players to relearn the map.

And you can play reworked Breeze in the brand new limited-time game mode, All Random One Site. AROS is a fast-paced 5v5 mode where your agent changes every round, your kits are free, and abilities recharge. While all of this chaos is happening, both teams also have to fight for a single point on the map.

Each agent rotation won’t contain any duplicates per team, though duplicates would’ve been fun to see. You can play AROS on Abyss, Ascent, Corrode, Pearl, Icebox, Sunset, Split, and the reworked Breeze. Unfortunately, Snowball Fight will have to leave to allow AROS to fill the limited-time game mode slot.

And finally, the last addition on the list for the Valorant 12.0 patch notes is the new Behavior Standing system. Agents can now view this in the social panel, which displays active penalties or possible penalties. This system also provides additional information related to active or at-risk penalties for your account.

As mentioned, the Valorant 12.0 patch notes additions discussed above are the significant additions and changes. The entirety of the patch notes contains many more changes and adjustments that affect the gameplay of Valorant. We chose to only mention the bigger additions, since they affect Valorant much more compared to the rest.
