Siege X Operation Silent Hunt has arrived, and it introduces the ironically famous stealth master, Solid Snake. This legendary stealth operative brings many unique abilities to the table, along with his unique kit. Although many players are getting solid for Solid Snake, let’s not forget that this update also features many more additions.
Siege X Operation Silent Hunt also brings many improvements and changes to the beloved tactical shooter. Many of these will improve many aspects, ranging from anti-toxicity measures to improving existing in-game features. So, let’s get right into the changes and additions in the latest Operation for Siege X.
The Contents Of Siege X Operation Silent Hunt For Core Siege

Siege X Operation Silent Hunt dropped on March 3, 2026, and it introduces a mind-bogglingly surprising addition to the game. The latest Operation in the game introduces Solid Snake himself as an attacking operator. This update introduces plenty more additions to the game, but let’s start with the main attraction, Solid Snake.
The New Solid Snake Operator
Solid Snake joins the Attacker roster with his exclusive Tacit .45 secondary and Soliton Radar Mk. III ability in Siege X Operation Silent Hunt. Solid Snake enters this roster as a one-health and three-speed operator, perfect for sneaking around more efficiently. His entire kit, including his weapons and gadget items, is as follows:
- Primary Weapon:
- The F2 Assault Rifle
- The PMR90A2 DMR
- Secondary Weapon:
- The Tacit .45 Pistol
- Gadget Item:
- Frag Grenades
- Stun Grenades
- Impact EMP Grenades
- Smoke Grenades
- Breaching Charges
- Unique Ability:
- The Soliton Radar Mk. III
Solid Snake’s ability displays a minimap on his handheld radar that he equips alongside his knife when activated. When using it, you can passively detect enemies in the immediate vicinity, which drains the ability battery. You can also use it actively to give you the pinpoint enemies’ locations along with their vision cone, at the cost of an ability charge and increased battery drain.
Enemies detected by Solid Snake’s ability will get notified, so watch your back when the master of stealth is nearby. And the radar device isn’t the only advantage Snake has in the field; he can also acquire more gadgets mid-game. He replenishes his gadgets from enemies thanks to his On-Site Procurement training.
The Anti-Toxcity Improvements
Siege X Operation Silent Hunt will introduce several new anti-toxicity measures to help prevent any toxic teammates from ruining your game. The first improvement adds 16 more toxicity categories for your report instead of the old four, thus allowing players to be more specific. This change will also let the moderation team target offenders with more accurate punishments.
The second improvement to the anti-toxicity measures is for the text chat moderation system. This new detection system is more advanced and has greater context awareness. The final improvement will punish any teammate of the person who leaves a match that results in a canceled match.
This change means that if players in the leaver’s party also disconnect, they will receive several punishments. These punishments include an abandonment penalty, a queue penalty, and the match will be a loss.
The Map Improvements
This season will feature several map improvements and modernizations, which will update their graphics, lighting, and destructibles. The maps receiving these changes are Coastline, Villa, and Oregon. Hopefully, these changes will improve the map and result in either you loving the map or loving it even more.
The Playlist Changes
Siege X Operation Silent Hunt will include some slight changes to the game’s playlist. The first change you’ll notice is the 1v1 arcade playlist, which now offers online matchmaking. This playlist will stay available for a limited time from April 16, 2026, to April 30, 2026, during Operation Silent Hunt.
The ranked playlist is also getting a few touchups in the new season of Siege X. At the start of the season, Kanal, Skyscraper, Theme Park, and Outback will get removed, and Emerald Plains will enter the rotation. Halfway through the season, Skyscraper, Theme Park, Stadium Bravo, and Favela will replace Coastline, Villa, Oregon, and Emerald Plains.
The Match Replay System Improvements
With the new season, the Match Replay system will get a few improvements. The first of these improvements optimizes the free cam by enhancing the functionality of the mouse and keyboard. The Replay controls are also receiving a new, reworked UI that allows players to hide certain buttons as they wish.
The Contents Of Siege X Operation Silent Hunt For Dual Front

Not only does Siege X Operation Silent Hunt add more to core Siege, but it also adds to Dual Front. Unfortunately, this comes alongside some grim news as Dual Front is soon shutting down for good. But before that happens, several additions have been made as a last hurrah for the game mode.
The New Neutral Sector Assignment
In this mode, you must secure an access key that will allow you to complete the main objective and guide your team to victory. To obtain the key, you must sneak past automated cameras and grab it before anyone else does. Once you do, you can use any of your equipment besides your gadgets, leaving you incredibly vulnerable.
Once you have the key, you have to shut down five antennas before the enemy does. There are six antennas present in the arena, and only three are online at a time. You can accomplish this objective with any operator in the massive roster, but Zero recommends that you enlist the help of Solid Snake for this.
During this assignment, all playable Operators will have an extra secondary gadget. Attacker operators will receive a Defender gadget, and vice versa. 2.5x sights will also get distributed to several weapons.
Is That All For Siege X Operation Silent Hunt?
Siege X Operation Silent Hunt also comes with a list of minor bug fixes and balancing changes alongside the main content additions. As always, these changes aren’t big enough to list, but if you’d like, you can read them for yourself. Just know these will allow the game to run much smoother and hopefully balance out a few operators.
So, enough reading, get right back to it, terrorists aren’t going to hunt themselves now, are they?
