Best Pokémon TCG Pocket Decks to Build From Space-Time Smackdown Packs

As the Pokémon TCG Pocket meta keeps evolving players need to know which deck will help in the competition. Let’s see what are the best decks to build for players to win against their opponents.

1. Palkia ex

For players looking for a powerhouse deck to one-shot their opponents, Palkia ex is here in action. It offers a Dimensional Storm attack. The combination asks for three water-type energy and one normal-type energy to deal 150 damage to the opponent’s Active Pokémon. It also deals 20 damage to the Benched Pokémons.

But also, the Dimensional Storm attack forces you to discard three water energies from the Palkia ex card after the attack. But, the Misty card has got your back, with this support card and the coin flips in your favor you can again make your Palkia ex ready for another Dimensional Storm attack.

Also, the newly introduced Manaphy assists with energy acceleration. With a little bit of energy management, this deck can easily dominate the competition.

2. Weavile ex and Darkrai ex

For a while, there were no Pokémon cards that could dominate the competition. But with the release of the Space-Time Smackdown deck Weavile Ex has filled that gap with its aggressive Scratching Nails attack.

It only costs one Dark-type energy for dealing 30 damage, but there’s a twist, if the opponent’s active Pokemon is already damaged the Scratching Attacks deal 40 more damage. Darkrai ex is the perfect ally for Weavile ex, whose ability Nightmare Aura deals 20 more damage to the Active Pokémon of the opponent whenever an energy is attached to it.

Even with aggressive attacks, Weavile Ex needs a quick setup. If you don’t get cards like Darkrai ex or Dawn early the overall damage drops significantly. The deck struggles against bulky Pokémon with damage reduction abilities and high HP. Besides being fast and aggressive the deck still needs careful setup to maintain its power and dominate the competition.

3. Dialga ex and Yanmega ex

This combination manifests the passage of time, making it best for mid to late game. It kicks starts a little bit slowly, but with its Metallic Turbo, it deals 30 damage alongside charging any benched Pokémon, dissimilar to Moltre ex which is bound to Fire-type Pokémons only.

With Metallic Turbo Dialga ex becomes the best support for Pokémons like Mew ex and Yanmega ex who only need three Normal type energy.

However, its slow start can become a big disadvantage against aggressive decks who can acquire momentum easily. Heavy Impact being a powerful attack asks for four energy which makes it inefficient than fast attacking Pokémons. So, you have to try to activate the Metallic Turbo quickly to avoid a defensive playstyle with Dialga ex.

Mastering deck synergy, energy management, and making new strategies will be the key to victory, as the game keeps evolving. With the right knowledge and deck setup these brand new META decks will keep you ahead of the competition. So which deck do you want to try first?
