The deleted blog post, published by Microsoft on March 20, 2025, detailed plans to incorporate Xbox into every device possible. Microsoft has discussed it as opening a billion doors with Xbox. The corporation envisions enabling gamers to easily transition between devices, such as from console to PC.
Microsoft also included an image presenting a mock-up UI across multiple Xbox devices. They showed different tabs for various types of games. Steam is among the tabs shown in the image; other tabs include recently added, installed, owned, Game Pass, and others. With Steam included in the tabs, many believe it will arrive in future Xbox devices.
People shouldn’t be discouraged, despite the lack of official confirmation of Steam coming to future products. Phil Spencer, the Gaming CEO at Microsoft, has stated that Xbox isn’t opposed to branching out across platforms and devices. Thus giving the idea of Steam coming to Xbox further ground.
