The Daredevil: Born Again trailer from weeks ago has fans hyped. Daredevil has been a fan favourite for quite some time now thanks to the outstanding performance given by Charlie Cox. Since the Netflix adaptation of Daredevil in 2015, people have been engaged thanks to its plot and action sequences. There were a total of three seasons that were on Netflix which can now be seen on Disney+.
The trailer for Daredevil: Born Again was released on January 15, 2025. Fans were excited to see the blind vigilante return with his brand new series. In this article, we will explore the trailer and tell you everything you need to know about Daredevil: Born Again.
Everything We Know About Daredevil: Born Again
Daredevil: Born Again is a continuation of the Netflix series Daredevil. The series takes place several years after season 3. It was originally planned to be a reboot but it was later decided that it will be continuation.
The Cast consists of Charlie Cox reprising his role as Matt Murdock/Daredevil, Deborah Ann Woll as Karen Page, Elden Henson as Foggy Nelson and Vincent D’onofrio as Kingpin. We will also see Jon Bernthal make a return as Frank Castle/Punisher and Wilson Bethel as Bullseye.
More information also suggests we will see the late Kamar de los Reyes as White Tiger, a vigilante.
White Tiger excels at close-quarters combat thanks to his mastery of martial arts. There is a pretty high chance of him teaming up with Daredevil this Season.
In the trailer you can see glimpses of multiple gruesome action sequences, confirming that the series will not be PG13 as once rumored. We can also see the Bullseye is back and has recovered from the spinal injury inflicted on him by Kingpin in Season 3. There’s also a new villain called muse who is serial-killer artist.
More Into the World of Upcoming Daredevil Series
At the beginning of the trailer we can see Matt Murdock and Wilson Fisk sitting at arms length of each other in a diner. When Matt is asked why he left being a vigilante, he simply replies “A line was crossed”. It can be an indication that Daredevil broke his rule of not killing or had a loved one killed as you can see a crime scene later on in the trailer.
According to the trailer, Kingpin has become the Mayor of New York, which can only mean more trouble for Daredevil. Kingpin has always been hungry for power over the city of New York and has not refrained from setting the city ablaze if need be. Daredevil: Born Again Season 1 will be released on 4th March, 2025.
