The REPO Cosmetics update has finally arrived, which introduces the coveted customization system. In addition to the new customization system, this update also introduces a myriad of additions and changes to the game. However, we’ll be taking a look at the customization system, as it is the main feature of the update.
The customization system in the REPO Cosmetics update has more depth than anyone would’ve thought. This system doesn’t provide you with every customization option from the start; you have to work for your cosmetics. So, let’s take a look at what you have to do to earn these cosmetics in the latest update.
The Method Of Earning Cosmetics In The REPO Cosmetics Update
When booting up the game for the first time after the REPO Costetics update, you have access to some of the new cosmetic options. Players can still change their Semibot’s colours, but you can now change the colours of your individual limbs. The limbs included in the customization menu include:
- The top and bottom sections of the head
- The top and bottom sections of the body
- The left and right arms
- The left and right legs
However, for you to unlock more of the customization options, you’ll have to earn them by playing the game. And how can you earn them in-game, you may ask? Well, you have to find a new special piece of loot only found in the various levels that you and your friends play; you actually have to play to earn.
Once you find this special item, which you can see in the image above, you must extract it to earn a token. Once you reach a shop after gaining a token, you can then spend that token at a glaringly obvious new station in the shop. With a token in hand, you then insert it into the machine, and it will reward you with a random cosmetic for you to use.
Unfortunately, you won’t be able to pick exactly what you want when using this machine, so you’ll have to hope. Either that, or you’ll have to trade in all of your luck to get everything you want, but I wouldn’t think that’s worth it. Or, you can find all of the tokens you need and spend them all to get everything you’d like, but that might take a bit of time.
