The Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update has fans showering love on the developers. Five and a half years ago, Cyberpunk was released to mostly negative reviews. The game was unfinished, buggy, and barely worked in most aspects. However, the Polish developers have found a way to turn it around, with the list of updates they have been putting out over the last few years.

The update 2.3 has dropped, giving us new toys and items for us to play around with in playthroughs. I’ll walk through the new additions we got as well as what might come next, as confirmed by CD Projekt.

Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 Update Brings Out New Toys

The Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update holds many new additions that fans have been asking for since they were shown a few months before. These are things like new collectables to new options, all of which were taken with fans’ suggestions, and mod ideas.

New options in Photo mode have been added, including new NPCs and more clothing for some well-known NPCs. Whether it’s taking a picture of a beautiful sunset or a group photo of your favorite characters, it’s now possible.

That’s not all for Photo mode, with additions to change the lighting, the weather, and even skip forward in time. There are also stickers and frames added, allowing you to make them into real photos for postcards for fellow players!

Another new addition in the Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update is inspired by mods, new vehicles, and the option to change the colors on the go. While fans just wanted a simple color changer, CD Projekt made it so you can copy other cars’ colors as well.

The new vehicles are no joke either, as players need to do side jobs to simply unlock them. These can be anywhere from winning a fist fight to a stealth mission to a large shootout mission in-game.

These new vehicles are two sports cars, a motorcycle made for stealth, and a heavy-duty truck that can take a beating. These all have their uses, for both missions with gunfights, to missions about time and speed, there’s something for you.

Some minor changes were added to help players feel more comfortable and allow them to change some gameplay actions. These range from new keybinds being allowed for more control, to some environmental storytelling, and game features being changed.

Finally, while it isn’t much, we now know that another Cyberpunk anime is in the works, and fans are hype. The two things we do know are that it’s still in Night-City, and David won’t return from the first anime.

While the Cyberpunk 2077 2.3 update wasn’t as big as other updates, it shows that CD Projekt still cares about the fans. They continue to pour love into the game, so thank you to CD Projekt for everything.
