The much-anticipated Spider-Man: Brand New Day will be released on July 31, 2026. It is the fourth live-action Spider-Man film starring Tom Holland. Here’s everything we know so far about Spider-Man: Brand New Day.
Spider-Man: Brand New Day is directed by Destin Daniel Cretton, who is well known for Shang-Chi and the Legend of the Ten Rings. The screenplay is written by Chris McKenna & Erik Sommers. This is the first time we are seeing the Spider-Man franchise get a fourth movie, as Sam Raimi’s Spider-Man has a total of three movies, while Marc Webb’s Spider-Man has two.
The Meaning Behind Spider-Man: Brand New Day
The title “Spider-Man: Brand New Day” refers to a fresh start that was given to Peter by Doctor Strange during the climax of Spider-Man: No Way Home. Likely, this is also a reference to the comic book storyline of The Amazing Spider-Man that began in 2008.
The Cast

Unfortunately, not much is known about the cast for Brand New Day. However, we do know that Tom Holland (Peter Parker), Zendaya (MJ), and Jacob Batalon (Ned) reprise their roles. We will also see new faces like Sadie Sink as well as Liza Colón‑Zayas, who is well-known for her role in The Bear (2022).
There are also rumours of Vincent D’Onofrio (Kingpin), Charlie Cox (Matt Murdock/ Daredevil) being in the movie. However, it’s not yet confirmed.
The Plot
The events of Brand New Day take place directly after the events of No Way Home. Brand New Day hints at a fresh new start as Doctor Strange has erased Peter Parker from everyone’s memory.

There is no information or leaks on what the plot is; however, there’s speculation that Spider-Man will be facing The Scorpion or even the Sinister Six. There are also rumours that Marvel Studios is hiring an Asian actor for the role of Mister Negative.
