The trailer for Jurassic World Rebirth came out on February 5th, 2025. The movie occurs after the Jurassic World trilogy, which concluded in 2022. It takes place on a different island this time. This is due to Isla Nublar’s destruction after the Mount Sibo volcanic eruption in Jurassic World: Fallen Kingdom (2018).
Ever since Jurassic World Rebirth was announced in late January 2024, the fans were excited to get their first look at the movie. The trailer was highly anticipated as there were leaks that Scarlett Johansson would be in the movie. She will be the main protagonist as seen in the trailer.
Jurassic World Rebirth Cast and Potential Storyline Explored
The main cast consists of multiple talented artists like Scarlett Johansson, Johnathan Bailey, Luna Blaise, Mahershala Ali, Rupert Friend, David Lacono, Philippine Velge, Audrina Miranda, Bechir Sylvain, and Manuel Garcia-Rulfo.
The movie takes place 5 years after the events of Jurassic World Dominion. The movie is about a squad led by covert operations expert Zora Bennett (Scarlett Johansson) tasked with retrieving the DNA of three dinosaurs, from air, land and sea respectively. Their DNA is the key to a medicine that can save human lives. While on the mission on the stranded island, they meet a civilian family who lost their ship to sea-dwelling dinosaurs.
Jurassic World Rebirth will be having new dinosaurs like Titanosaurus, a new iteration of Spinosaurus and Aquilops. There are also glimpses of a mysterious new Dinosaur or possibly a Mutant in the trailer. While Dilophosaurus, Velociraptors and Tyrannosaurus Rex will be making a return.
Will the Upcoming Jurassic World be Different from its Predecessors?
Jurassic World Rebirth is different from its predecessors as it is set on a new island while the earlier instalments were set on Isla Nublar. This is also the first time we will be seeing the new island which isn’t named yet. The new island can either be Isla Sorna (site B) or Muertes Archipelago.
Jurassic World Rebirth will be released on July 2, 2025. This will be the first Jurassic World movie where Chris Pratt won’t be in the lead role like he was in the last three instalments. Stay tuned for more such articles.
