Sony has announced the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond on January 27, 2026, to everyone’s surprise. This announcement comes just five days after the release of the Redacted Regiment Warbond, albeit a delayed release. And the Helldivers Siege Breakers Warbond is full to the brim with content, just like previous Warbonds.
The announcement states that the upcoming Warbond will release on February 3, 2026, a short time after the previous Warbond release. And with two Warbonds so close to one another, which one should you purchase, the quiet or the loud one? Well, let’s see what the latter has in store for you, Helldiver, and see if it’s perfect for you.
The Contents Of The Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond

As mentioned, the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond releases not long after the release of the previous Warbond. And many players have just finished grinding Super Credits for the previous Warbond, thus leaving them with a difficult choice. Should they purchase the quiet and stealthy Warbond or the loud and grandiose Warbond?
We already know the contents of the Redacted Regiment Warbond, the previous Warbond, and you can read about that here. However, we’re here to discuss the contents of the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond; it’s only fair to know both sides before making a choice. The contents of the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond are as follows:
- The LAS-13 Trident: The Trident returns in Helldivers 2 even better than its predecessor in Helldivers. The famous laser shotgun now fires six laser beams to shred the enemies of democracy. The Helldivers 2 Trident now makes the first Trident pale in comparison to its successor.
- The G/SH-39 Shield: Similar to the Z-4190, AKA the Bubble Shield of Halo fame, the G/SH-39 is a throwable shield. Once thrown, the G/SH-39 generates a spherical shield that can fit your entire team, although it will be cramped. The barrier blocks projectiles and explosions, but slow-moving objects can slip right through.
- The SA-8 Ram: A heavy armor set that features the new Supplementary Adrenaline armor passive.
- The SA-7 Headfirst: A Medium armor set that features the new Supplementary Adrenaline armor passive.
- The Supplementary Adrenaline Armor Passive: The Supplementary Adrenaline armor passive lets the user regain stamina when taking damage. This armor passive allows Helldivers to charge the enemy without having to worry about running out of stamina. The Supplementary Adrenaline passive also increases the armor rating of the user, making them tank a few more hits than usual.
- The CQC-20 Breaching Hammer: A stratagem that calls in a massive breaching hammer melee weapon. Helldivers can swing away like normal or attach an explosive anti-tank warhead to the impact point of the hammer. Helldivers can reload the warhead charge when the previous one has served its purpose.
- The EAT-411: Another addition to the expendable launcher stratagem, but it isn’t your usual expendable launcher. The EAT-411 fires one massive warhead, bigger than any other expendable launcher. The warhead is similar to the Ultimatum’s warhead, so watch where you’re pointing this thing.
- The GL-28 Belt-Fed Grenade Launcher: The second stratagem with a backpack that directly feeds the weapon, and it doesn’t fire bullets. The GL-28 showers areas with fully automatic 40mm grenade fire, as long as the ammo pack is connected and has ammo. And since it’s explosive, make sure you aim before pulling the trigger; friendly fire statistics are at an all-time high.
Like previous Warbonds, the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond also features various other cosmetics. These include capes, player banners, emotes, and player titles for your customization enjoyment. But cosmetics aside, how does the Siege Breakers compare to Redacted Regiment, and which one should you get?
Should You Get The Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond Or The Redacted Regiment Warbond?

Since the Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers Warbond releases so close to the Redacted Regiment Warbond, many wonder which one to get. At this point, many Helldivers have gathered up enough Super Credits to purchase a Warbond and wonder which to get. But with two of them releasing so close to each other, it’s a hard decision.
The Reacted Regiment Warbond focuses on stealth and infiltration, while the Siege Breakers Warbond is the exact opposite. The Helldivers 2 Siege Breakers promotes explosive democratic destruction, whether from melee or long-range. So with that in mind, pick whichever one fits your playstyle, or splurge a bit and pick both for the ultimate democratic experience.
But no matter which Warbond you pick, you’d better pick up that weapon and start shooting, or swinging. Democracy isn’t going to spread itself, Helldiver!
