No More Room in Hell 2 hasn’t had the best history since its release, but 2026 could very well change that for the better. Torn Banner Studios, the developer and publisher of No More Room in Hell 2, has unveiled its plans for the game in 2026. The plans for No More Room in Hell 2 seem promising, but could it actually save the game and make it popular again?
The most exciting part of this plan is the surprising reveal of the 1.0 release of No More Room in Hell 2. However, this will come around the first half of the year, so early access updates will still be the norm. Let’s delve into the 2026 plans for No More Room in Hell 2 and explore what it has to offer.
The 2026 Plans For No More Room In Hell 2

The 2026 plans for No More Room in Hell 2 are full of exciting additions, including the game’s 1.0 release. But we’re still a couple patches away from the 1.0 release, so hold your horses. With that in mind, let’s first discuss the two significant additions coming to the 1.0 release before we go any deeper.
The 1.0 release for No More Room in Hell 2 will feature the new Survival and Solo Training mode. In Survival mode, Responders must secure and hold objectives against a horde of increasingly dangerous zombies. Solo Training is a local and offline training mode that has no progression for Responders to practice in.
Unfortunately, we’re a few months away from reaching that, so let’s dial it back a bit and see what’s coming soon instead. As mentioned, we’re a couple of patches away from reaching 1.0, and one of those patches is the upcoming Genesis patch. There are a couple more patches after Genesis, but no information on them has released yet.
The patches leading to 1.0 will focus on performance and other issues rather than releasing content for players. The patches will also smooth over certain gameplay elements, for example, the melee combat and perk system with the Genesis patch. But with 1.0 being so close, what will happen to your account when it is released?
With the 1.0 release of No More Room in Hell 2, every early access account will have everything wiped. The wiping includes all progression, currency, and customization options, but it isn’t as joever as you’d think. You’ll receive exclusive early access rewards based on whether or not you participated, your account level, and Nightmare tokens.
Will There Be Anything After The 1.0 Release Of No More Room In Hell 2?

The 1.0 release of No More Room in Hell 2 doesn’t mean there won’t be any post-launch content, far from it, in fact. The 1.0 release is just the beginning for the game, the start of a hopefully successful sequel to the beloved No More Room in Hell. So arm yourself, Responder, and show those undead freaks who’s boss!
