Borderlands 4 comes from a game series since late 2009 and has received mostly love for most, if not all, games. While there were some bumps and moments, the franchise seems to be doing well, still getting sales to this day.

However, fans seem a little scared about the upcoming Borderlands 4, as the last installment wasn’t received well. The gameplay wasn’t up to par, and each character felt lackluster compared to all the other games in the series

Borderlands 4 has already shown off some gameplay, so we do know a good but about what is to come. We’ll see some returning characters, of course, some new ones, and some new ways to spice up gameplay.

While most changes aren’t crazy, there’s one thing that stands out for this Borderlands: players can change weapon parts. That’s right, players will be able to swap some parts out for others, changing how some weapons work outright.

These parts won’t increase damage or fire rate like other games do; they can change how functions completely. One part lets players throw the weapon when reloading, causing the discarded gun to explode into turrets of itself.

This isn’t something they’ve done before, but many fans are saying that it’s one of the better things to see. Most people have agreed that this is a good addition, allowing players to skip the grind for one weapon.

Sadly, that seems to be the end of the liked changes coming in Borderlands 4, as many fans are complaining. One of the most popular comparisons players are making is to Destiny when it comes to the bosses in-game.

In previous installments, the players would have to do a quest or a puzzle to refight a boss they’ve beaten. It wasn’t a problem at all, as the puzzles and quests were fun fillers when it came to grinding.

However, a new character and area will be introduced, allowing players to skip directly to the boss fight after defeating them. There are no changes to the refight bosses now, leaving the funny mission fillers in the dust and angering fans.

This hasn’t stopped some players, though, as they are trying to ask the developers to add boss rushes or modifiers. They claim that this will make each fight unique, rather than being the same thing over and over again, like in previous games.

Overall, we don’t know the story yet, so it’s hard to tell where this game might take the series. Hopefully, the story of Vault Hunters doesn’t end on such a terrible note like other games have in the past
