Paige in Deadlock features many marvelous abilities that can both hurt and help anyone she comes across. She can summon legendary creatures to assist her at will, assist her team with buffs, and slow her enemies down to a crawl. These abilities and their upgrades for Paige in Deadlock are as follows:

Chapter’s End

Paige in Deadlock uses Chapter’s End to fire a slow ethereal projectile that deals some heavy damage. The Chapter’s End holds 14 rounds, dealing 35 damage per round, and fires them at two rounds per second. With some basic calculations, the Chapter’s End deals 58.3 DPS (Damage Per Second).

Conjure Dragon

Paige in Deadlock conjures a dragon from her books to burn everything in its flight path for 60 spirit damage. And its breath leaves flames on the ground to burn any unfortunate foe for 30 spirit damage per second. And with its three upgrades, Conjure Dragon can become even more mighty as you progress through the round.

The first upgrade for Conjure Dragon decreases its cooldown by five seconds, leaving it with a 25-second cooldown. The second upgrade lengthens the time Conjure Dragon’s flames stay on the ground by two seconds, giving it a five-second lifetime. The third and final upgrade adds 115 damage and 30 damage to its DPS, giving it a total of 175 damage and 60 DPS.

Defend and Fight

Paige in Deadlock can grant her teammates a mystical buff that bestows them both a shield and a buff. Defend and Fight grants allies a barrier with 200 health and a 25% bonus weapon damage. Be mindful that this only lasts for five seconds, and once it’s gone, Paige will have to wait for 26 seconds.

The first upgrade for Defend and Fight enhances its barrier by 50 more health, granting allies 250 barrier. The second upgrade buffs allies with 25% more fire rate, in addition to the 25% bonus damage. The last upgrade makes it so that Defend and Fight give two nearby allies 75% of its barrier.

Captivating Read

Paige in Deadlock summons an AOE (Area of Effect) explosion that slows targets before exploding. Once exploded, targets cannot move for 1.25 seconds and take 120 spirit damage. Captivating Read can render enemies immobile and exposed to a volley of damage, but be careful of its 30-second cooldown.

The first upgrade for Captivating Read reduces its cooldown by six seconds, leaving it with a 24-second cooldown. The second upgrade increases the duration enemies are immobilized by .75 seconds, making enemies immobile for two seconds. The final upgrade for Captivating Read reduces the enemy’s spirit resistance by 18% for six seconds.

Rallying Charge

Rallying Charge also heals allies with 150 health and grants them increased movement speed.

The first upgrade increases the healing amount that Rallying Charge gives by 150 health, totaling 300 health healed. The second upgrade increases the number of cavalry members by four, giving Rallying Charge nine cavalry members. The third upgrade increases the damage and stun duration by 150 and .5, respectively, totaling 300 spirit damage and 1.5 seconds of stun.

Paige in Deadlock provides excellent support for her teammates and great lanning potential. But she suffers from being very frail and her long cooldown times, alongside her lack of movement options. However, once you master her flaws, she’ll be a powerful pick for your team on their journey to victory.

So fix your glasses, pick up your books, and show the denizens of New York the importance of a good story; you’re writing your own after all.
