Schedule I Finally Releases Amazing Update Into Public Beta

Cartels are now a part of Schedule I gameplay
Reading Time: 2 minutes

Schedule I has been out since March 24, 2025, and only has a small number of changes and bug fixes. Many thought the game wasn’t going to get an update at all, and that it was the end of the road.

After all these months, we finally see the update’s light, and the full release inches closer day by day. Was it worth the wait, or will it simply burn and be forgotten after all this time?

Schedule I Meeting With The Cartel

Schedule I isn’t new to showing off the illegal business, from growing weed to cooking meth, it’s the drug-making game. Running from cops, making deals, and gambling are all fun for a while, but late game, it’s easy and boring.

How do you spice up a game with ties to hard drugs without just making a new drug to make? Easy, let the Cartel come to town and give players a tug-of-war for the drug empire while fighting the cops!

The Cartel is a popular idea, with movies, games, and even songs being made to show the world’s illegal view. Some are simple crimes, others are undergrown rings with some of the most disturbing crimes under the sheet.

TVGS, the creator of Schedule I, didn’t want to go too far while still giving the players a new fight. This means there are two paths players can go: a peaceful path for easier times, or an uphill battle.
The peaceful path lets you work with the Cartel, after all, if you can’t beat them, join them! Setting up meetings to move product in the town, at the cost of less bang for your buck in sales.

The path was made to allow those who want fun and stress-free times to be allowed to continue that way. Not everyone wants a war; some just want a good joint and happy times, and no blame towards them!
Not everyone wants to sell out to the Cartel; some want their own empire, and they’ll fight for that right! Starting the war triggers new events, compounds getting raided, products being stolen, and the buyers being hurt by both sides.

Gunfights are happening with all three sides: the Players, the Police, and the Cartel, with the new pump shotgun. The whole town is in a fight, but at the end of the day, only the best sellers can stay.
Remember, grow, cook, mix, package, and make sure to sell the product before getting caught by either side.
