A sequel to the reboot of DOOM (2016), Eternal unleashes a host of new features that top its predecessor. DOOM Eternal brings a brand-new storyline to the table, with multiplayer modes as well. The Ancient Gods expansions are also often praised as some of the best video game DLCs to date.
I thoroughly enjoyed the campaign, and undoubtedly did not regret buying it at a discounted price. Moreover, before you can get your hands on DOOM: The Dark Ages, Eternal can be a fun little run with.
Titanfall 2 ($4.49)
A recent classic from the year 2016. Titanfall 2 sets a benchmark for modern FPS titles with a futuristic setting. Hosting an exceptional campaign, as well as a multiplayer mode, Titanfall 2 exceeds expectations with its fluid gameplay and even smoother gunplay. This title is not to be slept on by any means.
Although I might share a bias, there is no doubt that there is a solid reason it was placed in the first person for accurate reasons. Having played the campaign twice and after pouring a considerable amount of hours customizing my Titan, I can safely vouch for the game as one of the best.
Cyberpunk 2077: Ultimate Edition ($38.62)
While the games mentioned above can still be enjoyed without their DLCs, I found Cyberpunk 2077’s Phantom Liberty expansion to be crucial to the experience. The DLC enhanced the way I experienced Night City, with a brand new area and a host of uber characters who took me by surprise.
While there is no multiplayer experience available in the game, you can still spend hours exploring the city, taking on missions, and driving exotic cars. After years of its release, Cyberpunk 2077 stands tall as a different game from its previous versions, and I found it to be an extremely satisfying adventure.
Left 4 Dead 2 ($1.99)
Available at a discounted rate, Left 4 Dead 2 still stands as one of the iconic zombie-shooter titles available. Moreover, it is an even better catch at the Steam Summer Sale 2025. I found myself pouring countless hours into the campaign of Left 4 Dead 2 with my friends.
The game also offers the freedom of choosing any map at any point in time. There are also countless other game modes for you and your friends to enjoy. Left 4 Dead 2 also has a decent storyline going for itself, should you choose to immerse yourself in it.
Metro Exodus ($5.99)
Exodus shares a tale of a nuclear winter in Russian lands. Based on the Novel series by Dmitry Glukhovsky, Metro Exodus is the final chapter in the game’s trilogy. I got to play as Artyom one last time. And saw a visual masterpiece that is still holding up to this day.
For all the modern hardware users out there, I was able to play this game with RTX enabled and was blown away by its visuals from 2019. It is one of the best purchases I have made during the Steam Summer Sale 2025.
